The Monolith Series

Sentinels of time. Story tellers of a
millennia. Monoliths is a series in
homage to the edifices of rock and stone
that seem to mark time and space.
A monolith is a dichotomy, both timelessly
immortal and that of aging disintegration.
These monolithic structures are a metaphor
for our own unconscious denial of mortality
and a reflection on our own solitude. At
once alone and isolated and at the same time
at one with their surrounds. Monoliths
mirrors our own singular isolation of
consciousness and the natural order in
which we serve with one another and the
world we inhabit.
