Altered Architecture. While traveling through Portugal, I found myself making a lot of images of churches, cathedrals, and other religious structures. They were opulent, ornate, and inspired awe. Once I returned to my studio, I started stitching the multi-frame images together. The software has an usual quirk when stretching together frames of extreme perspective, and when asked to fill the frame, you often get wild distortions of the subject. In the last group of images, I used an iPhone and it's panorama mode. By manipulating the camera during the pan exposure, the built-in software came up with some pretty amazing results.
