Glacial Silt. The final segment of the Death of Ice series, this body of work shows the what remains as our great rivers of ice precipitously disappear. As a glaciers melts it leaves behind the rocks and soils collected in the high mountain valleys, and the ground silt created by the glaciers slow march to its terminus. At the base of the glacier's face, these elements commingle in the trickling melt waters that flow over sheets of ice before making their way to the headwaters.
